ColorBlend is a color mixing puzzle game for iOS. We respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about what data we collect and how it's used.

This privacy policy explains our data practices for the ColorBlend mobile application.

2. Data Collection Summary

The following table shows exactly what data we collect and whether it's used for tracking purposes:

What does "Tracking" mean?

Data marked as "Tracking: YES" is used to deliver personalized advertising. Data marked as "Tracking: NO" is used only for app functionality and is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Game Data (Not Used for Tracking)

• Game Progress: Your scores, level completions, puzzle accuracy, earned gems, and daily challenge progress are stored locally on your device.
• Purchase History: Records of in-app purchases (Full Game unlock, Gem packs, Ad-Free upgrade) are processed through Apple's App Store. This data is NOT used for tracking or advertising purposes.
• Game Center Data: If you opt in, leaderboard scores and achievements are stored via Apple Game Center according to Apple's privacy policy.

3.2 Advertising Data (Used for Tracking)

If you have not purchased the Ad-Free upgrade, Google AdMob collects the following data for advertising purposes:

• Device Identifiers: Your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS) to deliver personalized ads.
• Product Interaction: How you interact with ads shown in the app (views, clicks, interactions).
• Advertising Data: Information about which ads you see and respond to, used to improve ad targeting.
• IP Address: Your approximate location based on IP address to serve location-relevant ads.
• Device Information: Device type, OS version, and screen size for ad formatting.

3.3 Information We DO NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email, or phone number
• We do not collect precise GPS location
• We do not access your camera, photos, contacts, or microphone
• We do not collect health, financial, or other sensitive personal data

4. How We Use Your Information

4.1 Game Functionality

• Save your progress, scores, and unlocked packs
• Process and validate in-app purchases
• Provide daily challenges customized to your skill level
• Display leaderboards through Game Center

4.2 Advertising (If Not Ad-Free)

• Display advertisements to support free gameplay
• Personalize ads based on your interests and behavior
• Measure ad performance and effectiveness

4.3 App Improvement

• Analyze usage patterns to improve gameplay
• Identify and fix bugs
• Develop new features based on player behavior

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 Google AdMob (Advertising Platform)

ColorBlend uses Google AdMob to display advertisements (unless you purchase the Ad-Free upgrade). AdMob collects and processes data as described in Section 3.2 above.

How to Opt Out of Personalized Ads:

• iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → Turn off "Personalized Ads"
• Or: Purchase the Ad-Free upgrade to completely remove ads and stop all advertising data collection

5.2 Apple App Store

In-app purchases are processed by Apple. Payment information is handled exclusively by Apple according to their privacy policy. We never see your payment details.

5.3 Apple Game Center

Leaderboards and achievements use Apple Game Center. Your Game Center profile and data are managed by Apple according to their privacy policy.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your game data is stored locally on your device using secure iOS storage (UserDefaults and Keychain for sensitive data). We do not maintain remote servers for your personal data.

Security measures include:

• Encryption of purchase data using iOS Keychain
• Secure communication protocols (HTTPS)
• Regular security updates
• No server-side storage of personal information

7. Data Sharing

We share data with the following third parties:

• Google AdMob: Device identifiers and advertising data (only if you haven't purchased Ad-Free)
• Apple: Purchase information processed through App Store and Game Center data

We do NOT:

• Sell your personal data to anyone
• Share your data with data brokers
• Use your data for purposes other than stated in this policy

8. Children's Privacy

ColorBlend is rated for all ages (4+). We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

For users under 13:

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without parental consent
• Advertising follows COPPA guidelines for child-directed content
• Parents can disable personalized ads in iOS settings
• Parents can purchase the Ad-Free version to completely remove ads

If we discover we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13 without proper consent, we will delete it immediately.

9. Your Privacy Rights

9.1 All Users

• Access: Request information about data we hold (contact us at privacy@colorblend.app)
• Deletion: Delete the app to remove all locally stored game data
• Opt-Out of Tracking: Disable personalized ads in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
• Stop Advertising: Purchase the Ad-Free upgrade to completely stop ad data collection

9.2 California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have these additional rights:

• Right to know what personal information is collected, used, shared, or sold
• Right to delete personal information held by us
• Right to opt-out of sale of personal information (Note: We do not sell personal information)
• Right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

9.3 European Residents (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or UK, you have these rights:

• Right to access your personal data
• Right to rectification of inaccurate data

• Right to withdraw consent at any time

10. Data Retention

• Game Progress: Stored on your device until you delete the app
• Purchase Records: Retained by Apple according to their policies (indefinitely for fraud prevention)
• Advertising Data: Retained by Google AdMob according to their policies (typically 12-24 months)
• Analytics Data: Aggregated and anonymized, retained for up to 24 months

11. International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have different data protection laws than your own.

When we transfer data internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including:

• Standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission
• Privacy Shield frameworks (where applicable)
• Service providers certified under recognized privacy programs

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we make changes:

• We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top
• We will notify you through the app if changes are significant
• We will post the updated policy at colorblend.app/privacy.html

Your continued use of ColorBlend after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

13. Do Not Track

Some browsers have "Do Not Track" features. Because there is no common standard for Do Not Track signals, ColorBlend does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals.

You can opt out of tracking by:

• Disabling tracking in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
• Disabling personalized ads in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising
• Purchasing the Ad-Free upgrade
